" Your baby is twice as big as he was last month but he still weighs only about 190g (6.7oz). Meanwhile, most of the weight you've gained is from amniotic fluid, placenta, and water retention. Although things may seem calm on the surface, your little one is kicking, flexing, reaching, rolling, and even sucking his thumb now. If you haven't felt him move yet, you will in the next few weeks. His hearing is now functioning and he will be listening to your heartbeat."
The last week's post talks about weight gain. I worried so much. But after I visited my OB yesterday, so happy that I gained only a pound. I guess this is brought about by what is being described above, the amniotic fluid, placenta, and water retention. I'm still on my toes of controlling my food in-take. I am damn afraid if I'll be sliced if I won't be that careful. Oh, my!
I still feel nothing about the kicking, reaching, rolling or any movements of my little one. Still looking forward to feel her first movement. With the development of her hearing capability, expect that I will sing her songs, talk, and pray with her. Though I am always doing all these things, it would be more exciting now knowing that she can hear me already...happiness, yay!
