My 17th Week

hatAt this stage of my pregnancy, I can say that I feel better compared the weeks before. This is because at this point I seldom vomit. Thank God for this. I can now slowly take in food that I love to eat worrying not that this will just come out immediately from my stomach. Anyways, this is how the 17th week old baby is being described by babycenter website...

" You may be gaining weight rapidly at this point, even if you're not eating much. Experts say that the amount of weight you put on during pregnancy is dictated primarily by your genes, so don't necessarily blame yourself if the weight's accumulating faster than you'd like. Your baby's movements are felt as a gentle, fluttering sensation at first, but get stronger and more obvious as time passes. Some babies kick vigorously and often, others are quieter. And many seem most active at night! "

I worry much on the possible weight gain I'll have in the coming days. I am already overweight and don't want to gain more. Just hoping that now that am slowly coping up with the vomit issue, I just gain less weight. Anyhow, more than worrying the weight issue, I am now more excited to the first movement of my angel, the first kick! How can I document that feeling? Hmmm! I guess, it's an experience that can't be documented by any ways except the personal, intimate feeling that is experienced of a mother. No words can express about it and it is eternally treasured by any soon to be mom...
