Craving, Looking Back!

They say that "paglilihi" happens during the first trimester of pregnancy stage. Lucky me , I experienced what I used to hear from friends who experienced also like this. I tell you, man, it was not that easy. Fortunate to those who did not experience anything but as what I've also known, they say that it's better to experience the uneasy and sickening feeling because it is the normal way to experience the odd symptoms of pregnancy.

As per my experience, paglilihi includes vomiting and craving. I too experienced these two. I craved for something to eat, I am choosy on what to wear, I wanna see somebody, wanna go somewhere, wanna do peculiar things. There are also things that I hate: I hate the sun's rays, I am not comfortable in crowded places and there are also person/people that I hate the most without them doing anything wrong with me, I just do not know. nahh!

Craving for something to eat is the top of the list when pregnant woman is experiencing "paglilihi". For me, this is just but a simple way of getting rid of that bitter taste of my taste buds. Here are pics of what I've been wanting to eat and taste just to satisfy my tongue and feel better from that vomiting experience.

Viands/Meals:
Buttered chicken with gravy. I love the gravy. But after my first trimester, I hated buttered chicken the most. I just dunno why.

Aninikad - one kind of shell. Its meat can be taken out from its shell through the use of an "alpiril". A very nutritious food according to my mom.

Pork Binaguongan. Just not to eat much since bagoong is salty and is not good for the baby as they always say.

Humba na Ribs. Taweng tried his very best to cook one for me. His first attempt was not bad though.

Others of any kind...

In no particular flavor or specific ingredients. In short, any pizza will do.

Baked Spaghetti from I forgot...

I so loved this one, ginanggang na saging. Of course coated with margarine and sugar...

There are more of these that I craved and wanted ever to eat. I'll add them up as soon as I get hold of those pictures. ;-)
