My 37th Week

"Only two weeks or so to go! This week, your baby is busy shedding his downy coating of fine hair (called lanugo) and his coat of vernix caseosa — the cheesy substance that protects his developing skin. Your baby swallows both of these secretions, which stay in the bowels until birth. Then your baby will excrete a blackish waste called meconium that becomes his first bowel movement. Meanwhile, you may be feeling huge — and increasingly impatient. But try to get as much rest as possible — even if sleep is difficult, you'll appreciate it after the birth." Baby Center Website

Weekly visit to my OB is required. I went to my OB yesterday and thank God that up to this stage of my pregnancy, all vital signs are doing well. Praying always for a normal delivery. Please pray for me and for my baby, ayt!

Oh, yeah. It's so true that I am feeling huge and impatient now. I am feeling tired and can't really wait this uneasy feeling to end. Thank to our good Lord, I can take my vacation leave next week. I can't wait that moment that am on a VL at long last! Yahoo!
