Parochial Fiesta in Maa, Davao City 2009

St. Francis of Assisi Maa Parish has just celebrated its 15th parochial fiesta. The annual festivities describes how the people of Maa never fail to thank God for another milestone of the parish. It was highlighted with the HUDYAKA sa Parokya 2009, a showcasing of talents from the different schools in Maa. We really thank Fader Zenon for entrusting with us the program. It's an honor for me and my husband-Taweng to grace the evening.

Prayer of St. Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;

where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury, pardon;

where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope;

where there is darkness, light;

and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,

grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;

to be understood, as to understand;

to be loved, as to love;

for it is in giving that we receive,

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

Amen.
